Upgrade An Assignment (5)

Here is a wooden bowl animation which contains grapes. I choose to make the top of the bowl have an edge to make it different from ordinary bowls.

This is a fancy table cloth which distinguishes this table from others.

This is a fruit bowl which contains oranges within it. The gold trim on the top as well as the gold base of the cup are used to show the wealth of this particular family.

Here are the grapes within the bowl. I decided to contain three different types of grapes; purple, blue, and green grapes.

Here are the oranges within the golden food hodler. I created a steam to these particular oranges in order to bring them out a bit rather than just orange round shapes.

This is the eating table cloth which will be eaten on.

This is a actual medieval fork. i took a reference photo of Dark Knight Armory photo and transformed it into a 3d object ( Can't tell by picture)
Reference Photo

This is the animation of the spoon from the Dark Knight Armory photo. Spoon came out a little more round than expected. but think most players would be able to determine that this is a spoon.

Upgrade An Assignment (4)

This is the attachment to the castle. It provides the user with traps and increased range during gameplay.
This is a far distance image of the extension animation. I really like the material i was able to find for this attachment and like the medieval feel it presents.
In this animation, i tried to bring some sort of representation and decided to locate the flat in the middle of the attachment.

This image of my trap accessory to the attachment is meant point out some of the perk os building this attachment,
These are the beams that are holding this trap up. I was unsure on how to create a system where the player would have to trigger something in order for these beams to be destroyed.

Upgrade Assignment (3)

This is an overview of the castle from a great distance. I decided to create the base of the races. Each one will look different, but this is just a draft of what i would like some of them to look like.

I wanted this stone on top of the castle to hold a shield of the race you are playing as.
This is the fire that is inflames during the beginning stages of the castle. I played around with the animation and kinda didn't mean this to happen but kind of found it surprising that the fire made a nest of my rock material.
This s an image of my rock environment around the castle. The castle is supposed to be an old castle in this draft and i wanted the environment to all messed up with rock formations having developed over the past decades.

This is the ceiling for the upstairs location. Couldn't really find an old ceiling material but found it gave it the castle feel so i decided to keep it.

This is a picture of my stairs and some of the indoor materials. I wanted this castle to look a bit messed up due to weather taking its toll on it but think i could had done a better job with finding material that made my stairs look old.

This is the upstairs floor and wall materials. I wanted the floor to be beat up a bit with some discoloration on the walls.

Upgrade An Assignment (2)

This is another upgrade on my shields, and my first 3d modeling of the sword. Here are the Blue race and brought in some substances from my previous shields. I made the base of the sword blue follow the middle of the circle for the blue shield. I think this looks a lot better than my previous shields and like how the swords came out.

Here are my brown race shield and sword. As you can see, they follow the same pattern and use of materials as my previous races does. I did this to bring a sense of continuity to my game and the objects that each races uses.
Finally, i have my red race which thought came out looking pretty cool.  Overall, i thought everything looks much better and can start to work on some of the landscape objects that will be used in my game. Please send some comments since i think the brown shield can use some work.

Maze Texture Assignment(2)

This is where the player will begin the game. In this area i want to give the player a choice between a Sword,Staff, or Bow.
This is one of the Two Spheres that your player must obtain. This is the Fire Sphere
This is an outside look at the entire maze as well as the Beginning section. Still needs some work but like the direction thus far.
This is the second phere your player must collect. This is the water Sphere.
This is some of an outside view of building that the Water Sphere is found in. I added some earthy animations to give the player a sense that they found something mystical.
Nothing special, just a rock i made .
This is a mini water sphere that is located on the sides of the Water building. I didn't know how to get the right lighting to make it stick out and seem mystical.
This is a mini fire sphere that is located on the side of the Fire building. Luckily, Maya had a good fire animation to it and i was able to slap it on and really convey to the player that this place dangerous.

I would like to somehow add characters that your player must combat as well as a timer. Here are some ideas for each elements characters.

Maze Texture Assignment (1)

Here are 3 pictures of my re-created Maze. I wanted to make the theme of escaping while bringing the player to a "choice". I want to incorporate portals that either make you restart or win. I really like how the spotlight in the third image came out. Although i had a much bigger version (Maya crashed on me after 3 hours of not saving.... FML). but i restarted and basically narrowed down my structure. I want to set a time limit for this maze, that gives the player two choices, go directly straight and have a 25%

chance of winning or collect all of "energy" balls and then go to the portal and win.

Game Reference: Portal

I would like to somehow integrate this into my maze.

Idea's for balls of energy
