When i was presented with the thumbnail assignment , i initially thought what could thumbnails contribute to my game and if i could even think of 10 ways to think out my thumbnails. To my surprise i actually thought this assignment was very beneficial. I found out that i can create some pretty neat artwork. My favorite of the bunch is thumbnail #9 because of its abstractness from what is usually presented. Overall, i liked all of my drawing but i personally wanted to do something out of the box and therefore i choose thumbnail #9.
8 and 9 were awesome, really loved the way you drew the borders.
ReplyDeleteI like the really basic simplicity of number 2 because it has a really enticing sense of negative space and flow
ReplyDeletenumber 6 also has a really interesting use of negative space and sharp contrast
DeleteI like layout number one the most because it looks simple and easy to follow. You don't want too much going on because it will draw the focus away from the purpose.
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of number 5 with the huge title and then the rules and intro being split by some sort of image. The angles at the bottom corners will add a nice feel to the poster guide. and eliminate some of the extra space.
